Verbally Inspired - Mini Article Now Available

Paul argued the “verbal inspiration” of the Bible regarding the "seed" promised to Abraham: “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, ‘And to seeds,’ as of many, but as of one, ‘And to your Seed,’ who is Christ”(Galatians 3:16). God's original promise to Abraham is recorded in Genesis 22:18: "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed." The Old Testament Hebrew word for "seed" cannot apply to the Israelites, Levites, or anyone else, before Jesus Christ. The inspired writer of Galatians 3:16 makes an inspired interpretation of Genesis 22:18 and shows the fulfillment recorded in Matthew - John was perfectly accurate! God knew what He said in the promise, and certainly knew when events had “filled full” (or “fulfilled”) what He meant for men to believe.

QA: Do We Need Jesus Today?

QUESTION: Do we need Jesus today? - October, 2020

ANSWER: Absolutely! In a hero saturated society, most of whom are make-believe, Jesus has been lost in the shuffle. Super heroes are a human attempt to elevate someone who is worthy of adulation above others. Consider the Real Jesus: 1. Jesus is Only Begotten. (1 John 4:9; John 15:13; Galatians 3:26; 1 John 3:5; John 8:24) ... Read more of this and other QA on Questions Answered.

QA: Does Grace Cancel Out All Sin?

QUESTION: Grace cancels out all sin, including wilful sin, right? - October, 2020

ANSWER: WRONG! God's grace does NOT cancel a person's sin NOR will it save on the Day of Judgment. Here's why: 1. Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. ... Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. (Genesis 6:8, 22) ... 2. ... Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17) ... Read More of this and other QAs in Questions Answered.

Sin's Sly Beginning: Mini Article Now Available

The Devil, as a serpent (Genesis 3:1Revelation 12:9), tempted Eve in three steps:

1) Doubt - “Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" (Genesis 3:1);

2) Denial - "You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4);

3) Distrust -"For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:5).

The Devil tempts today in the same way.

1) Bible commentaries, sermons, and so-called “translations” fogs truth, Solomon wrote, “That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth, That you may answer words of truth” (Proverbs 22:20-21).

2) Jesus’ truth is denied: "He who believes and is NOT baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16).

3) “God is faithful” (2 Corinthians 1:18).

Mini Article Part 2: Sequence Matters

Reason for the Season PART 2:

"Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us" (Luke 1:1)..."it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus, that you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructed" (Luke 1:3-4). The Book of Luke was written by the Holy Spirit because "many" were writing their own account of Jesus' life, but not accurately.  Luke's "orderly account" literally meant he was writing about the events in Jesus' life "one after another." Time sequence means something, for "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son" (Hebrews 1:1-2).  - December 7, 2020

Fear of Salvation: Mini Article Available

People are afraid of Jesus Christ when they don’t know nor understand the truth about Him. He walked on the sea and His disciples “supposed it was a ghost, and cried out " (Mark 6:49-50). At His resurrection, the women were told: “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said” (Matthew 28:5-6). “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments” (1 John 5:3). People who don’t know nor understand the truth about salvation are afraid to be baptized to be saved. God explained: “do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” (Romans 6:3). No salvation is outside of Christ. Fear not to obey Jesus Christ. - November 23, 2020
