A Religious Poll: New Mini Article

“And it happened, as He was alone praying, that His disciples joined Him, and He asked them, saying, ‘Who do the crowds say that I am?’ So they answered and said, ‘John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again’ (Luke 9:18-19).” The opinion on the street was: (1) speculative; (2) divided; (3) wrong! Did Jesus say, “Each one has their own truth?" or “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion?” OR “It doesn’t make any difference what they believe and practice?” None of these. Jesus said to His disciples who had seen His miracles, heard His teaching, and followed Him, ‘“But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God”’ (Luke 9:20). Prayers for unity without accepting what the Bible says avail nothing!

QA: Can Christians be "Politically Correct"?

QUESTION: What can Christians do when they are accused of violating "Political Correctness"? - February 2, 2020

ANSWER: "Political correctness" is an expression of false teaching. The Devil is "the accuser of our brethren" (Revelation 12:10). He accuses only, but without proof. It means that everyone who accuses without proving their case is doing the Devil's work. "PC" is simply accusing by labelling but not proving. ... What Changed? - Mini Article Published Now

After “the most important election in history,” what have the results really changed?

Not God: "For I am the LORD, I do not change” (Malachi 3:6). Not Jesus Christ: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Not The Holy Spirit’s Bible: “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).

Not the Gospel of Salvation: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16).

Not God’s Authority Over Government: “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God” (Romans 13:1).

Not the church of Christ: “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

Receiving Jesus Christ: Mini Article Available

“As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:6-7) To "receive Jesus” a person must be taught "in the faith”. Paul wrote, “We urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.” (1 Thessalonians 4:1) If the Thessalonians had “received Jesus” apart from Scripture, why did Paul need to write Scripture to them to tell them how "to walk and to please God?” Paul warned to: “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men.” (Colossians 2:8) “Receive Jesus” the Scriptural way, not by man-made traditional teaching.

Lend Me Your Ears: Mini Article Available

In William Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar,” Act 3, Scene 2, Mark Antony says: “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.” Why pay attention to this fictional invitation, but neglect to hear God’s appeal: “Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth” (Psalm 78:1); OR to the appeal of Solomon: “My son, pay attention to my wisdom; Lend your ear to my understanding” (Proverbs 5:1); OR to the appeal of Jesus Christ: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life”     (John 5:24).
