Jesus is revealed in the Bible – not on an iron, foil on a bottle of cider, a drainpipe, a tortilla, the side of a freezer, a potted asparagus fern, or a shroud of Turin! But, there is NO physical description of Jesus Christ on Earth anywhere in Scripture! Every depiction of Jesus, whether as a baby, an adult or on a cross, is totally without Scriptural fact, and entirely made-up by someone’s imagination! To Thomas, who had trouble believing that Jesus was raised from the dead, “Jesus said to him, ‘Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed’" (John 20:29). We are to be looking in the Scriptures for Jesus Christ, not imagining Him in any other place! - January 27, 2020
