Brutality Is Hateful - Mini Article Now Available
Those who cruelly, viciously kick and beat a political opponent, shoot parked policemen, plant explosives among the public, or recklessly maim and injure people should thank God we no longer live under the Law of Moses, for God’s justice dealt harshly with cruelty: "If a man causes disfigurement of his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him - fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused disfigurement of a man, so shall it be done to him.” (Leviticus 24:19-20) John the Baptist commanded soldiers, "Do not intimidate anyone,” or “no police brutality.” To do otherwise is the definition of a “hate crime." Christians recognize that, without “the kindness and the love of God our Savior,” people are "living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another" (Titus 3:3-4).
