In Uvalde, Texas, an 18-year-old shooter barricaded himself in an Elementary School classroom and proceeded to murder 19 of its 10-year-old students and 2 Teachers, wounding many others. He was shot and killed by a law enforcement officer. Only one death was justified that day: that of the murderer! After the world-wide flood in Noah’s day, God decreed for all mankind: "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man” (Genesis 9:6). Jesus repeated the principle: "All who take the sword will perish by the sword” (Matthew 26:52). Murder violates God’s Law, and justifies the murderer’s death! Solomon said: “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him” (Proverbs 26:27). Murderers who plan, plan their own deaths! - May 31, 2022

After sin entered the world through the free choice of Adam and Eve, their son, “Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him” (Genesis 4:8). Toward the end of the New Testament, the explanation is given: “we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous” (1 John 3:11-12). Stephen Craig Paddock fired on a Las Vegas outdoor concert crowd in 2017, murdering 59, wounding over 500 others. With multiple weapons in his motel room, Paddock clearly pre-meditated murder.
