QUESTION: Why has society changed so quickly? - February 28, 2021
ANSWER: The fate of any nation involves only one principle factor: obedience or disobedience to God.
1. The Law of Moses included Leviticus 26:14-17: The result of defying God's commandments led to a reason for repentance.
2. The Law of Jesus Christ says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7) ... Read more of this and other QA in Questions Answered.

“Also do not take to heart everything people say, Lest you hear your servant cursing you. For many times, also, your own heart has known That even you have cursed others” (Ecclesiastes 7:21-22). How hypocritical is anyone who condemns others for that of which they, themselves, have done? Have the “cancel culture judges” never used the words they now hold in contempt? “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one’” (Romans 3:10). Jesus said: "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:1-3). No “cancel culture judge” has spoken so perfectly to be qualified to judge/condemn anyone else! - 6-29-2021 This and other short thoughts are available in Words of Wisdom Articles.

QUESTION: Since "everyone who loves is born of God and knows God" (1 John 4:7), then are homosexuals who love each other "born of God"? - June 2, 2019
ANSWER: This is a very good question in view of our present society. Presenting homosexuality as an "alternate lifestyle" in schools, popularising representatives in movies, entertaining the idea on TV, or defending as "legal rights" with organisations, have all made this sexual concept sound acceptable. Those who oppose such an idea have been made to feel guilty by being labelled as prejudiced, racist, homophobic, or hateful. What can Christians say? 1. Jesus condemned homosexuality by emphasising God's created sexual order was unchanged (Matthew 19:4-5) ... Read More of this and other QA in Questions Answered.

Jesus Christ endorsed the Genesis Creation account when He said “He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female’” (Matthew 19:4). There is condemnation for all who cross, or ignore, this distinction. “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge” (Hebrews 13:4). Gender benders can change. “Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites…will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate” (Proverbs 8:13), even for a month! - 6-22-2021

Jesus Christ said: "’Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him.’ And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith" (Luke 17:3-5).
(1) Who are you to judge another person’s heart? Legislation determining what are “hate crimes,” and Media rejecting confession of wrong-doing are contrary to God’s Word.
(2) Jesus said, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). We must assume that spoken words are “heart-felt.”
(3) Sin is a violation of God’s Word. Who are you to add arbitrary, man-made “works of penance” to make someone’s repentance to your liking? It is “godly sorrow [that] produces repentance leading to salvation” (2 Corinthians 7:10). Repentance is between the sinner and God. - 6-15-2021

QUESTION: Do we have to have a "marriage ceremony" to be married? - August 26, 2018
ANSWER: It is difficult to define "adultery" and "fornication" without a proper ceremony. Jesus used both words for that which mars a marriage (Matthew 5:32; 19:9). Adultery is fornication that dirties a marriage by taking intimacy outside of it. (Genesis 2:22-25). God began marriage with a "wedding ceremony" that consisted of ... QUESTION: Should abortion be outlawed? - May 26, 2019
ANSWER: The Bible answers to 1. When does life begin? 2. Is abortion ever justified?
1. When does life begin? The Bible answer surely begins with a) David's inspired description of God's working in a birth (Psalm 139:13-16) Since, at the same time, God "forms the spirit of man within him" (Zechariah 12:1), at what point is abortion NOT a "fight against God (Acts 5:39) in making a new person? b) It is well established ... The Judaeans King “Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD” (2 Kings 21:16). He “had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon” (2 Kings 24:4). In Genesis 25:19-28, Isaac and Rebekah’s twins, Esau and Jacob, were “not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil” (Romans 9:10-11). Unborn babies are innocent. God did not pardon shedding very much innocent blood. Judas Iscariot confessed “saying, ‘I have sinned by betraying innocent blood’" (Matthew 27:4). Innocence is described as anyone, like babies, who have done no harm to anyone, and Jesus Christ, who only did good (Acts 10:38). Babies’ innocent blood damns, Jesus Christ’s innocent blood saves. - May 25, 2021
